Equipment List

Troop Gear
The Troop has equipment for the existing patrols, which include, but are not limited to, the following.
  • 2-Man and 3-Man Tents
  • Coolers, Stoves, Fuel Canisters
  • Spatulas and Soup Serving Spoons
Proceeds from fundraisers will be used to purchase equipment for the Troop as needed. The equipment will be given to each Patrol at the beginning of the Scouting year. It is the responsibility of the Patrol and the Patrol Leader to maintain the equipment and keep it in good shape. If any equipment is damaged or lost, the Patrol is responsible for purchasing new equipment.

Personal Gear
Scouts will need to buy personal gear, available through the Council Boy Scout store or at the camping outfitters (e.g. REI). We strongly suggest that you mark all your personal equipment.

Beyond the Class A and B uniforms and the Handbook, the general categories of personal equipment a Scout needs to have are backpacking and camping gear.

A list with information on the various types of backpacking and camping equipment is listed below. Please contact your Patrol Leader or one of the Troop Leaders for specific advice.
